The University College of Omran and Toseeh (UCOT) is founded on 1994 by Doctor Ali Eghbali, with approved license from the Ministry of Science, Research, & Technology. It was ranked a Higher Educational Institution in 1996 and formally started accepting students. UCTO is accepting students through National University Entrance Exam based on the Higher Education System of Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. It started its teaching classes and research activities in September of 1996.
There are four Faculties in UCOT:

The University offers Master Degrees, Bachelor Degrees, and Associate Degrees.
Programs available in UCOT, based on the degrees, include:

  • To contribute in elevation of level of education and knowledge in the community
  • To contribute to the training of needed work force for the Country
  • To create a positive environment that facilitates  expansion in Science & Research in the country
  • To increase the capacity of admitted students in the region of Hamedan
  • To help reinforce self-confidence in youth by teaching self-sufficiency and independence
  • To utilize available regional resources to promote the higher education at the national level
